Requirements checklist from Burke




PySNMP installation
1. Install python, eg from www.python.org/downloads/release/python-2712.
2. Add the following to your PATH: C:\Python27;C:\Python27\Lib\site-packages\;C:\Python27\Scripts\
    use Control Panel -> System -> Advanced System Settings -> Environment Variables -> system variables -> Path
3. Now try "pip install pysnmp". It might succeed, but in my case it failed.
4. I had to install "Microsoft Visual C++ Compiler for Python 2.7" (free) from http://aka.ms/vcpython27
5. Now "pip install pysnmp" worked, and then "python walk.py" worked (where walk.py is from the assignment webpage)

Windows SNMPv3: use NetSNMP
