CSED Assignment 1: parts list for a computer.

You are tocreate a list of parts required to build your own PC, with prices.
One possible source of prices is newegg.com; there are many others.

Look for motherboards with onboard video, sound, and Ethernet.
Try to create a "modestly priced" system.

core parts: 
	motherboard, cpu, ram (these must match!)
	hard drive (ATA/IDE, *not* SATA unless the motherboard supports it)
	case/fan/power (case comes with cables, usually)
	cd-rom

Put a cpu heatsink & fan into the quote, though I won't hold you to it
if they don't match.

If the motherboard is lacking one of video/sound/network, you will need
to include a card for it. 

Ignore all software, including the operating system. 
Also ignore monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

Get one discount-type prebuilt computer quote for comparison.
