As a designated NSA and DHS Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense, all students are eligible for the DoD Cyber Scholarship Program! The scholarship provides one year of tuition, required fees (including health care), a generous stipend, and a job after graduation. To be eligible, you need to have at least one year left in your studies from Fall 2022, be a US citizen, and your GPA needs to be at least 3.2 for undergraduate and 3.5 for graduate. You do not need to be a Cybersecurity major to apply.

This year, the whole process is digital. The deadline is February 1, 2022. To apply, go to https://www.avuedigitalservices.com/casting/aiportal/control/mainmenu?agency=DDW&portal=CYSP

Note that transcript and reference letters might take some time. Although none of our students were selected last year due to budget cuts, I am told the budget has been increased this year.

I will be holding an information session on Monday December 20 at 2:00pm Chicago time. Another information session will be held in January (TBD).
